Always trust your computer to proofread and spellcheck

When writing anything for publication it's a good idea to pay careful attention to things such as your spelling, grammar and punctuation. Luckily, thanks to modern technology, computers have got your back!

Whilst righting content for this website, I’ve learnt a thing or too about the importance of proper spell chequeing, grammar and proofreading. I thought it wood bee a good idea to publish this post to pass on some of the things I’ve learnt.

The fact of the matter is that if you don’t rite well people aren’t going to read your content. If people don’t read your content then you won’t urn any money or make any prophet from your website.

This is even moor important if you are writing content for a commercial website as people won’t bye what your selling unless they trust you.

Writing the perfect post is no small feet. Butt hopefully I can pass on some advice to help you along your whey.

Thanks to the wonders of computers and modern technology, there are a few simple things you can do witch can help you wright the perfect piece of content.

Some advice on proofreading


Spell cheque is probably the most important tool in your arsenal. Even better, an automatic spellchecker will cheque you’re work as you rite and automatically insert the correct spelling four any words you misspell. Make sure that you address all those annoying read squiggles before you publish your work.


Bee sure you don’t make a rookie grammatical mistake such as getting your and you’re mixed up because if you do, people will think your an idiot.


Ensure you double cheque your hyperlinks so that al lynx to external websites function correctly. These can be a pane to fix so make sure you get them rite the first thyme.

Fact cheque

Double check that your fax are correct as you don’t want publish any incorrect information.

Post size

The sighs of your post is also important. You don’t want it to be two short, so aim for at least 600 words.

Attention to detail

Make shore you reed over your work a few times and pay close attention to the little details. You don’t want to look back after publication and find that you mist any silly mistakes.

After writing your first draught, it’s always a good idea to paws for a little while and take a break, before coming back and re-reading over your work won final time.

Don’t be afraid to take a few daze away and cum back to your post at a later date. This will give you a completely knew outlook on what you’ve written, witch will enable you to sea it from a fresh perspective.
